Main research interest: • Static and dynamic characterization of materials. • Mechanical properties of metallic materials at high strain rates. • Rapid fatigue characterization of mechanical systems with Thermographyc analysis. (e. g. fatigue behavior of a vehicle hydrogen supply; fatigue behavior of welded joints for automotive application; fatigue behavior of vehicle pistons). • Viscoelastic characterization of biological materials (bone tissue, soft tissue)

Supervising maintenance procedures, analysis of the maintenance procedures problems, design of mechanical parts, definition of new operative maintenance procedures.
