Click to edit position descriptionI lead the People Analytics & Technology Team at SoundCloud. We make use of data, technology and automation to make better informed people decisions, free up more time and space for people so they can focus on the high-touch, human interactions which matter. We support the growth of SoundCloud with a focus on acquisition, retention and development of individuals and their careers (who in turn serve our vast and diverse global community of creators and listeners).

Leading a small team, we provide the insights into recruiting activity via dashboards and reports, drive our candidate experience efforts and manage all tools and systems. We focus on, and help others, get stuff done. That's a nice thing.

SoundCloud is an audio platform that enables anyone to upload, record, promote and share their originally-created sounds across the internet. From sample to symphony and soundbite to soliloquy, SoundCloud allows sound creators anywhere to instantly record audio on the site or via mobile applications and share them publicly or privately; to embed sound across websites, social networks and blogs and receive feedback from the community.

• Assisted international companies in sourcing, assessing and hiring experienced hire MBA students • Worked as part of a team to organise and hold recruitment events • Coached and developed MBAs to master recruitment screening processes • Reviewed cover letters, CVs, ran mock interviews (telephone; face-to-face) • Benchmarked recruiting methods against other leading business schools

• Managed the online CV database for over 250 candidates • Co-ordinated multiple high-profile projects dealing with a broad range of stakeholders internally and externally • Responsible for continuous updates of social media (Twitter) and additional communication channels (jobs board, intranet) • Collated and produced recruitment statistics and reports

• On-site project management of high-profile events (International football matches) • Research and data collection for marketing new marketing initiative

• Managed all initial stages of new startup business such as: creation and implementation of all new operational procedures; marketing; financial forecasts and market analysis

• Worked in a fast-paced environment to launch a new online startup business • Implemented a new system to improve the internal communication between departments • Co-ordinated the planning and organising of a football match at Wembley including the opening of a retail outlet for tickets, merchandise and travel arrangements

• Introduced and monitored KPI’s throughout the European operations • Reviewed and analysed existing operational procedures to improve efficiency of the department • Created and delivered training sessions to users in the UK and Europe • Co-ordindated on projects with teams from across Europe on new report initiatives • Presented cost saving projects to senior management
