• Design, setup and lead the Security Governance Committee • Manage, motivate and develop the Cyber Security Team, assigning and prioritizing tasks for operational efficiency • Ensure that IT systems and the IT application landscape are adequately protected • Ensure the Security Policies are appropriately reviewed and maintained • Review and approve SOX reports in relation to the Johnson & Johnson Integration • Analyze facts, solve problems in IT security and present findings and recommendations

The NextGen Program is an infrastructure project (move of Actelion main data center into new premises) and a system migration project (virtualization and move of all business applications). • Ensure that the chosen solutions are aligned with the IT strategy • Oversee the work of the various technical teams within program • Create technical requirements and document them to guide the teams • Responsible for the technical solutions and their implementation • Ensure that quality standards are met

• Design network, security and infrastructure solutions. • Work with the IT project teams to identify, gather requirements for solutions, and draft proposals • Participate in the development of the IT strategy and IT architecture • Translate network, security and infrastructure-related business needs into technology specifications and serve as technical authority • Assist with the diagnosis and remediation of technical issues • Maintain the network security systems

• Advise new technologies to customers depending on their business requirements • Design, implementation and support for customer solutions (network and security) • Maintenance and support for existent infrastructures • Project management in customer projects • Consulting for new network and security solutions • Design, implementation and support for network management solutions

• Design and conception for a structured redundant layer 3 switched network • Migration from an unstructured routed network to the new switched network • Implementation of a new IP-addressing concept • Integration of the Server-Farm for the seven public services • Standardization in the communication from the layer 1 to the layer 3 • Connection to partner networks like the swiss government, the swiss army, other cantons...

• Design and implementation of a LAN with about 600 nodes • Design and integration of the computer rooms • Design and implementation of the server environment (Novell based) • Maintenance for the whole infrastructure
