Conduct interviews and focus groups with community stakeholders to complete a needs assessment for the development of an intercultural awareness training for the New Zealand Police. Involved in the development of the training content based on the findings of the needs assessment.

Conduct case studies for the Settling In community development initiative of the Ministry of Social Development. This involves collaboration with the Settling In team, interviews with stakeholders of migrant and refugee communities, as well as the written documentation of the findings.

Co-facilitated a multicultural focus group for a community-led development initiative of the Department of Internal Affairs.

This role involved collaborating with Prof. John McClure (Social Psychology) on a research project about the effect of the 2010 Canterbury earthquake on individual risk perception and preparedness. I was involved in all stages of this project, initially in data collection, coding, and quantitative and qualitative data analysis, and later in drafting the paper.
