Successful expatriate adjustment is important for both personal and corporate success. In the context of adjustment, networking has been identified as critical factor for expatriate’s success. Networking is defined as building, maintaining and using personal and professional contacts. My PhD project examines the influence of east/west time shifts between the host and home countries on networking behavior with a focus on work- and life satisfaction and work performance.
