During this period I was a classroom assistant for Spark of Genius. Spark of Genius is an independent organisation which works predominantly with young people, their families and carers, who need a variety of supports to achieve their true potential. It provides day education for young people who have found it difficult to cope within a large mainstream setting and need an alternative approach to education. I found this position to be both challenging and rewarding.
