Provided the strategic vision and global management for the clinical/visualization component of a leading Radiology PACS product portfolio deployed within a broad spectrum of individual, regional, state/provincial and national healthcare enterprises, Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) and Healthcare Information Exchanges (HIEs) throughout North America, Western Europe and Australia.

Provided the strategic vision and global management for the workstation component of the leading Radiology PACS product portfolio referenced above. Generated business cases and annual strategic plans for business development, new product-development initiatives and established products and services by collecting, analyzing and leveraging market-specific requirements and competitive intelligence.

Provided the global management for the McKesson RIS product as well as key strategic constituents of the workstation component of the McKesson Radiology PACS product portfolio, the latter including both native and integrated Advanced Visualization, multi-lingual support and web-enablement. Developed business cases and annual strategic plans for Advanced Visualization product portfolios, together with support for West European and Middle Eastern user-interface languages.

Provided the strategic vision and global management of a Magnetoencephalography (MEG) product portfolio employed both in neurosurgical planning and clinical investigation. Defined business- and product-development strategies, pricing models, services solutions, operational-support plans, together with the resultant corporate and product roadmaps, by liaising with worldwide luminary accounts and industry thought-leaders and regulators.

Provided the strategic planning and management of all Clinical & Regulatory Affairs for an emerging healthcare-technology vendor focused on the commercialization of implantable neuro-stimulation technologies targeted for international markets in rehabilitative medicine. Defined and managed operational strategies and budgets for the Department of Clinical & Regulatory Affairs, in addition to all clinical studies related to the organization’s technologies.

Provided the strategic vision and global management for two product portfolios comprising high-field Magnetic Resonance (MR) platforms employed in diagnostic imaging, clinical investigation and neuroscience research. Leveraged market-specific end-user insight and competitive intelligence to define technology-, product- and applications-development projects, determined their budgetary and scheduling prioritization and later managed the relevant product and offering life-cycles.

Maintained responsibilities as an Applications Scientist (please see below) while liaising between industry thought-leaders and early product-adopters worldwide, as well as in-house cross-functional teams, to coordinate and lead a broad range of MR technology- and applications-development projects and prioritize product-roadmap components. Co-authored and managed regulatory submissions for Pre-Market Notification and Investigational Device Exemption.

Contributed to the development of the organization’s clinical MR acquisition software, with a primary focus on neurological and cardiovascular applications. Provided system-installation and clinical-applications support worldwide. Liaised between an international install-base and in-house cross-functional teams regarding the commercialization of numerous MR acquisition, image-reconstruction, post-processing and Advanced Visualization techniques.
