DRUGS PK/PD, FORENSIC TOXICOLOGY Department of Medical and Health Sciences (IMH), Division of Drug Research (LÄFO) Area of interests: Investigation over pharmacodynamics of New Psychoactive Substances, cell-bank, in-vitro cellular assays.

Leading a small team of 2, I planned the feasibility of an immunoassay routine solution, wrote and managed the tender invitation, installed and validated the ELISA workstation for routine drug testing. Directing a small team of 3, I designed, set up and I am currently executing multiple receptor-activation studies to characterize new psychoactive substances. I monitor the recreational drug market scene in Sweden, resulting in the publication of 2 case reports

Studied the effect of a pharmacological treatment in mice to replicate the effect of exercise on brain functions. Collaborated in the study of a mice dietary supplement to enhance brain functions. Initiated an RNAi project aimed at delaying the onset of Huntington’s disease. The projects utilized molecular biology, protein biochemistry, immunohiystochemistry, behavioral and in vivo techniques.

Performed and completed two drug design studies on the pharmacological treatment of Leishmania parasites in vitro. The project was performed in a Biosafety level 2 laboratory utilizing protein biochemistry techniques
