• Develop coated films products and ensure a robust product pipeline with special focus on Display applications • Technical support to regional organizations to enhance market penetration and growth.

• Lead a team of 20 researchers including 5 lab managers • Build competence in electronics market segment with special focus on display and touch panel applications • Manage and ensure a development pipeline including market understanding for the opto-electronics market • Foster and leverage internal and external partnerships to achieve organizational goals • Contribute to shaping the coated films product strategy, especially for the Display market.

• Lead of team of 4 staff to develop nano-metal dispersions, hardcoated optical films and transparent conducting films • Develop hard coated polymer films & transparent conducting films for touch panel application • Develop scalable processes for metal nanoparticle synthesis for development of nano-metal inks for printed electronics applications

• Pursue and lead new technology development activities related to nanotechnology in Singapore Corporate Research Materials Lab • New product development or modification by liaising with local and regional technical service engineers • Actively scout for external technologies of relevance to 3M's businesses in Singapore • Environment Health and Safety (EHS) Core Committee Member
