I currently lead a team of 9 UX designers allocated in agile teams whose goal is to create and improve digital experiences for credit cards and payments, including integration with loyalty programs, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, and PayPal. In addition, I work as Chapter Lead to ensure the consistency of digital experience cross channels, connect the bank's digital strategy with the credit card and digital payment experiences, and create a roadmap of developments and improvements in experiences for customers.

Senior UX Designer

During this period, I was able to join the UX area and work on conceptualization projects for banking products and services. I made my change from the technology area to UX team and I joined the project that studied the vocation of credit products on mobile app. This project was conducted with a multidisciplinary team, and we studied customer behavior, credit market, new techs and new business models. The deliveries of this project enabled a new contextualized experience of credit offer in the mobile app.

Designer in Digital Transformation Projects

When I entered the technology area of Itaú Unibanco, I was assigned as a designer for digital transformation projects. These projects had as objectives to restructure the area of technology, to promote cultural, work and process changes, with emphasis on the adoption of lean principles, agile methodologies, and design thinking. A highlight of my performance in this period was the application of design thinking and human-centered design methods and tools focused on the employee’s experience.

I was hired by Whirlpool to work in the metrics team, focusing to conduct the perceived quality metric. The method of applying this metric was based on the automotive industry and was replicated by the global teams (USA, Mexico, Italy, India, and China), which I had periodic contact with them. I conducted the application of this metric into 5 different portfolios of products (Refrigerators, Ovens and Stoves, Air Conditioners, Purifiers, and Portable).

My experience at the Design & Sustainability Center (NDS) was as a design researcher and focused on conducting sustainable product and service projects and integrating the multidisciplinary team and partners. NDS is a research group that works to create sustainable products and services and to creates academic knowledge about sustainable design and product+service systems.
