Manager of the African division. Leads the executive team that analyzes investments opportunities in West Africa, and negotiates with customers, bank lenders and local authorities. Responsible for the setup and operation of the processing facility. Results: Led the team that developed a green-field project in Senegal. Incorporated the company, negotiated the acquisition of the land, led the team that secured funding from European banks, hired the executives to set up and operate a factory.

Organized and launched the business to identify, analyze and manage investments in the United States, Latin America and new regions. Developed relationships and contacts with potential customers, and analyzed potential joint ventures deals. Results: Incorporated the company, developed and assessed projects valuated in $13.5 Million. Leader of the team that analyzed five potential acquisition targets and joint venture opportunities. Developed a new division specialized in Africa.

Led and redesigned the Quality Department, a 50 collaborators strong area distributed in five processing plants. Created and implemented new policies, systems and procedures. Managed communications with international customers in quality related issues and acted as a process advisor for them. Results: Reduced non-conforming products by 50% applying Key Quality Metrics. Saved 25% of the Department’s pest control budget through the redesign of the control systems for raw materials.
