Emma Wynne

I am currently participating in a five-month communications traineeship at the European Parliament in Luxembourg. My duties consist of writing articles on a range of contemporary terminology and translation topics, sourcing and scheduling articles for our social media (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) with Crowdfire, promoting our own articles on social media and related Facebook groups, proof-reading all posts before they are published, analysing statistics, and managing the website using WordPress as an CMS.

- Contributed to a major PR campaign which saw my work displayed in the Metro, London Evening Standard and the Guardian - Fulfilled internal design requests using Adobe Creative Cloud, HTML and CSS - Wrote stories for the University's website - Student Blog Editor

One of my final year modules included participating in a group magazine project on a theme of our choice. We opted to create a food magazine aimed at students, as we found this to be quite a niche and interesting topic. Responsibilities - Check articles for accurate spelling and grammar - Make sure that articles adhere to the defamation system - Writing varied feature pieces and conducting interviews for both the print and online magazine

The Holloway Road is London Metropolitan University's news website. Responsibilities - Writing local news stories - Checking stories for accurate spelling and grammar - Making sure that stories adhere to the defamation system

My duties consisted of pitching ideas, doing research, discussing ideas with the Music Editor and writing one article a fortnight.

I tutored two children in Berlin, both in English and in Maths.
