• Control of the piping material flow during the entire execution of the work in cooperation with the lead Layout & Piping Engineer, the purchasing department, and the construction site. • Technical guidance of the materials management team. • Creation of material specifications, and performance of the relevant calculations. • Preparation of the request and order documents as well as the execution of the technical offer comparison. • Provide technical advice about the suitability of materials.

• Review Client's technical documentation and requirements. • Pipeline design based on ASME B31.4. • Preparation of the technical specifications and data sheets for material purchasing. • Check the results of surveys carried out by sub-contractors. • Ensure an adequate standard of technical documentation and contribute to updating Company standards. • Liaise with material and equipment suppliers.

• Coordinate Logistics Activities from Suppliers to Site along with Storage and Inspection Costs. • Coordinate the activities of all engaged in the Movement of the Materials. • Inventory Control Activities. • Material Forecasting. • Handover of the Materials to the sub-contractors. • Local Purchase Orders.

• Acquires and understands the Project goals from Contract. • Define the Discipline list of activities, list of deliverables and time schedule in accordance with Contract requirements. • Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and Bill of Materials (BOM). • Coordinates the evaluation of the design changes to the original scope of work and verify the implementation of those approved. • Attends to internal review activities and inter-discipline check meetings. • Ensures follow-up activities.

• Suppliers Analysis. • Comparison of different offers regarding price and value. • Contacting suppliers for negotiations. • Determination of quantity and timing of the deliveries. • Monitoring and updating purchase orders as well as tracking of the costs and delivery dates. • Preparation of the Equipment lists. • Spare Parts management.

• Check quantities, and drawings to ensure accuracy. • Resolve any technical queries and other problems that may crop up. • Advise on, plan, and organize inspections, maintenance, and repairs. • Liaising with clients and sub-contractors.
