Developed more than 150 medical devices leading to a substantial increase in the product offering. Led the technical development of advanced ceramic and polymer components. Evaluated potential ceramic suppliers and established business relationships with two of them. Directed up to 4 engineers. Ensured interfaces company key function and users and the development team. Supervised master students. Worked out and implemented a new NPD process. Screened new technologies and product ideas.

Developed a new dental implant concept based on a licensed technology. Identified key scientific institutions to support the project, established research contracts and trial protocols, supported clinical studies. Responsible for the planning, coordination, budget control, quality assurance and technical documentation of key innovative projects for the group in the fields of polymer injection mouldings and coating of ceramic and metal implants.

Developed resorbable synthetic bone defect fillers and a new therapy to treat extraction wounds in collaboration with research institutes and clinics. Developed and scaled-up processes for cGMP production of resorbable materials including analytical methods based on pharmaceutical processing technologies. Achieved 2 CE-Markings and one FDA submission of medical devices. Main inventor of 3 patent applications. Directed a development team of up to 4 persons, supervised research and analytic labs.
