Spearheaded the development and execution of Corporate Real Estate's sustainability strategy.

Co-created CRE's strategy, contributed to organization's growth from day one. As workstream lead for RE & FM successfully navigated the complexities of several M&A projects (e.g. Monsanto integration, Covestro carve-out). Overseeing international RE projects and asset divestments exceeding €500 million. Supervised office lease and purchase transactions impacting 10,000+ employees. Set up global service provider framework agreements. Introduced company‘s first workplace program and RE transaction playbook.

In addition to special assignments, compiled monthly management reports, improved budgeting & forecasting processes and spearheaded local working capital initiative to reduce financing expenses. Supported local product portfolio & licensing committee by providing advice and challenging business cases.

Set up and implemented hedging strategies for company‘s foreign exchange risk exposure. Traded interest & foreign exchange rate as well as commodity related capital market products (e.g. Spot, Forward, Options, Futures).

Extensive on-the-job training for various Finance departments (e.g. Treasury, M&A, Controlling, Accounting, Audit) preparing for future leadership positions.
