+ Design and implementation of a temperature controller for a 1200W oven to test a 10 bar pressure sensor operating in 600°C environments. + Design and testing of a pressure chamber for high temperature & pressure applications.

+ Interfacing of PPG (Photoplethysmography) sensor with UDOO Neo single board computer. + Analysis of the PPG sensor’s data to find the optimal wavelength for the accurate measurement of oxygen saturation in blood.

+ Interfacing of the Sharp low-power memory LCD with Intel Edison microprocessor. + Hardware design and development of the Platypus smartwatch. + Schematic and board design of a 2-layer PCB for the Platypus smartwatch in Eagle. + Hand assembly of the SMD components and reflow-oven soldering of the Platypus PCBs. + CAD-Design of the smartwatch casing in Autodesk Fusion 360 and prototyping in a 3D-Printer. + Development of a wireless charging system using Texas Instrument’s BQ51050B wireless charger.

+ Initial training in the Fieldbus industrial standard such as HART, Foundation Fieldbus and Profibus PA. + Testing and implementation of a 4-20mA Loop interface card using HART technology. + Linearization for Thermoelements (J, K & N-types) over a polynomial of complexity N=5 using interpolation. + Evaluation of the measurement accuracy of the thermoelement and linearization implemented in an MSP430-based system. + Design and construction of a Profibus PA Physical layer conformance test device.
