The New Silicon Valley – Theatre Production Director | Dramaturg | Performer Created and performed an installative theatre production inspired by Latin American science fiction narratives. Led the conceptual development and execution of the project in collaboration with theatres and funding institutions. Responsible for artistic direction, dramaturgy, and creative producing, including project planning, budget and timeline management, and team coordination.

With a background in theatre, dramaturgy, and cultural management, I design and lead international programs, festivals, and participatory formats that connect diverse communities — especially within migrant and intercultural contexts across Germany and Latin America. I have led and co-directed international festivals, residency programs, and theatre productions, collaborating with institutions, independent artists, and public stakeholders.

I conducted a workshop and the students performed an artistic performance at the end of the work. The purpose of this workshop was to make a process with cast mixing the philosophy of Viewpoints created by Marlie Overlie, expanded to work in the theater by the American director Anne Bogart. In general terms the Viewpoints training offers a theoretical and physical vocabulary so that a group can create a theater show going beyond the naturalistic aesthetic lineage.

Working as a theatre director means for me the opportunity to offer my attention to the creative process that I establish with the collaborators. Directing means for me first to listen attentively, then perhaps to help in the process of choices and composition. Directing is first to dialog and have an open mind so that concrete change/learn between actors and other collaborators is possible. To direct for theatre is making choices, but always in dialogue, listening more than necessarily speaking.

The work as an actor also represents a way to return to basic foundations of dialogue with other creators, adaptation to projects designed by colleagues and friends, in addition to the great learning that I obtain when I break down and expand the way I see my work.

Co-led participatory theatre projects focused on community engagement and urban development. Designed and facilitated pedagogical processes with participants of diverse backgrounds, with and without stage experience. Responsibilities included rehearsal planning and supervision, dramaturgical text development, scene analysis, and coordination of premieres and revivals. Conducted community-based research and collaborated on interdisciplinary formats such as FLECHTWERK, ENSEMBLE PRAXIS, and SAALBAUBESETZUNG.

As Production Manager at the Pappelwaldkantine, the central hub of Ruhrtriennale 2022, I was responsible for overseeing daily production operations within a dynamic international arts festival environment. This role required coordinating complex logistics, managing schedules, and ensuring the smooth execution of multidisciplinary events involving performance, music, and visual arts.

During the period of the internship the student could follow the development of educational activities involving pedagogical theater, educational actions in the artistic and theatrical are and visit rehearsals of some productions of the Staatstheater Braunschweig.
