Reporting to the Global R&D and Business Development Manager. I’m responsible for the departments of: • R&D, • Engineering, • Quality and • Connectivity -Programming annual budget for the technology organization -Planning resources and timing to achieve time to market deadlines. -Organizing the four departments to achieve business goals.

Reporting to the R&D Technology Director, I had the responsibility of a multidisciplinary team formed by: •Thermo-mechanical Engineers •Power Electronics Engineers •Embedded engineer •Prototyping assembly •Project managers •Electronics Technicians Creating teams with this multidisciplinary skills to develop new UPSs products.

Design and create specifications for development and implementation. Run the project, with a project management methodology. Define all the project activities, (preliminary analyses, the implementation, the setup, the develop, the integration test and the go live). Coordinate and to collaborate with the involved resources. Check all the economics point of view of the project As R&D Project Engineer, directly involved with Hardware, firmware,design.

Electronics, Hardware/firmware UPS product design. To follow the life cycle of the product, technically supporting: After Sales department. Final test department. Product Care department.

• As part of the development team I was directly in contact with the redesign of a new wireless embedded application that involved Analog and Digital electronics. • Schematic and PCB design • Analog Sensors Signal conditioning. • Directly development of the firmware for the low power MSP430 microcontroller family (in C). • The project involved the CC1100 Chipcon transceiver.

• As a co-founder of the company I was in contact directly with the customer in order to translate the ideas and needs into systems (products). I had the opportunity to follow all the process of the systems design from the concept idea to the final prototype, to the production. To understand the economics and monetization of the products designed.To think in the marketing of them. • Support to the sales department. • Still owns 33% of shares

• I participated in the design of a platform for a product series in order to reuse the firmware in assembly and improve the time to market for the next products. • I worked together with the industrial designers and marketing departments to meet all the requirements of the customer. • Design of the PCB circuits to reduce noise and save some components using the PCB design properties. • I worked with CAN, SPI, I2C and Rs-232 protocols
