The aim of this role is to take responsibility for and to proactively progress the tendering, purchasing, shipping and delivery to site of FF&E and other purchased project items. This will involve working closely with suppliers for the procurement of the most suitable furniture, lighting, deco and other FF&E required for each project and with all members of the Project Team - both internal and external - and managing each assigned phase within the budget and/or programme constraints set for the phase.

Continuous revision and update of about 6000 SKU’s inventory. Management of purchasing projects Reinforcing and expansion of the supply network locally and abroad. Design and execution of the purchasing plan. Continuous improvement. Product development in cooperation with projects designers.

Management of projects in collaboration with sales, merchandising and finance departments in order to take care of all the details that buying process requires while aligning it with the company’s targets. Lead, train and supervise the purchasing team to accomplish the company quality standards regarding product codification, suppliers’ management and inventory analysis. Packing design and development including company’s details to ease delivery, handling and storage processes.

Contribute to define and accomplish purchasing and marketing schemes accurately by following up on-time delivery of the merchandise, documentation and logistical issues along with updating the product’s related data.

Detailed monitoring of the orders of about $12,000,000/PA set by the managers in factories and international fairs. Daily reinforcement of an international network with about 100 suppliers from Asia and Europe given by continuous communication. Revision of shipping documents and control of shipping date. This was a key element to guarantee the on time delivery of the merchandise for each season.
