Grace O Regan

Experienced child care provider. 9 years experience caring for up to 10 children for short periods (4-5 hours), and 6 children for up to 10 hours a day. I provided a safe and welcoming environment for these children, fostering great relationships with the children and their families. I have cared for children with allergies, autism and while they have been ill.

I worked in Shannonvale Foods, a Poultry production company. I carried out secretarial duties such as answering phones, managing customer issues and taking orders. I acted as the primary COVID-19 liaison officer to ensure continous workplace safety. I was appointed the principal on-site antigen COVID-19 tester (Abbott rapid test).

Working in a busy café restaurant part-time during the academic year and full time during Summers and holidays. I returned to the café during the summers of 2019 and 2020. Initially my role was serving, I then moved to food preparation/assembly and as a barista from 2018.

Worked full time in a luxurious wine bar and restaurant. I was involved in many managerial roles in this business, including managing orders, staff, responsibility for opening, closing and cashing up. In addition to roles in food, cocktail and coffee assembly and preparation, I also acted as a server.

I completed my university degree in Biochemistry with 2.1 honors and achieved the maximum grade in my thesis.
