Hilda Frimpong

As Cambridge Coordinator at Vinschool Metropolis, I led the Cambridge Advanced Programme, overseeing curriculum, assessment, and teacher development for IGCSE/A-Levels. I managed academic strategy, instructional quality, and teacher professional development. My role included operational management (exams, recruitment) and supporting student admissions, parent communication, and pastoral care, fostering a student-centered learning environment.

After a fulfilling 16-year career in education leadership (Head of Junior Maths, Research Lead, Cambridge Coordinator), I'm pivoting into data science, analytics, or business intelligence. I'm actively pursuing the IBM Data Science Professional Certificate via Coursera, driven by a desire to apply my analytical and problem-solving skills to real-world challenges through predictive modeling. My background in leading teaching excellence and research now informs my deep dive into data.

Achieved a 1st Class Honours in Computer Science & Mathematics. After a year as a programmer in Ghana, I taught Mathematics in the UK for 10 years, and then internationally in both the UAE and Vietnam, ultimately serving as Cambridge Coordinator. This rich background in logical thinking, problem-solving, and global education leadership now fuels my pivot back to the tech world, combining my analytical foundations with extensive pedagogical and strategic experience.
