Delivered training for over 2000 education agents. This included training sessions conducted in Mandarin Chinese in more than 20 cities in mainland China and Taiwan. Managed a small team of sales executives. - Developed Business Plan for Indirect sales via Agents and delivered on time and on budget. - Initiated several localization strategies such as translating brochures into Chinese, Japanese and Korean, e-mail blasts in the local language and online Marketing which proved extremely effective.

Mentored and coached small and medium sized companies in the West Midlands region of the UK to grow their sales internationally. One highlight included helping a small UK company to secure a large international order which grew their sales substantially and also created new jobs. Organised and led UKTI Trade Missions to China, Brazil, and Dubai. Delivered the regional International Trade Business Plan on time and on budget.

While studying Chinese at Jiao Tong University in Shanghai I taught Business English part-time in several Chinese and Foreign companies to fund my studies. Clients included Nestle, Biomerieux, Degussa, PCI Executive Search, Foton, Longcheer. - This helped me gain a better understanding of how Business is done in China and also make some useful connections.

Provided strategic advice and contacts to French businesses looking to export their products to the UK. Organized hundreds of meetings for French exporters with British retail buyers, distributors, wholesalers, agents etc. Recruited and line managed four French members of staff and managed the events budget. Made a presentation in French about the Trade Missions I organized to a delegation of three French MP’s as well as the French Minister in charge of France’s Economic development in the UK.

In charge of several activities related to the Management of Key Accounts and the co-ordination of marketing activity throughout Africa, Asia-Pacific and Latin America.Developed an international customer database to assist global Key Account Managers to drive new sales and led a new initiative to target one multi-national company worldwide each month by leveraging the information from the database. Intel was the first company to be targeted.

I'm attending this intensive part-time Training for the Trainer programme in Shanghai during the next 6 months to take my soft skills training ability to the next level and achieve Certified Soft Skills Trainer status by IRCES (国际培训师证书)
