I was originally employed as an Analytical Chemist to develop HPLC methods for the analysis of personal care ingredients, providing chromatographic support data for the skin care portfolio. My analytical skills evolved to include various skin measurement and imaging techniques. I carried out protocols measuring the effect of prototype formulations on the skin against a competitive set, in order to influence product development and generate data for claim substantiation.

I conducted chemical analysis on new pharmaceutical products and stability testing of existing products. This included analytical testing using technically demanding chromatographic methodology and a wide variety of instruments. Proficient in HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography) and GC (Gas Chromatography).
