As a Product Manager my main responsibility is to collaborate with various teams inside the organization to ensure our Vanadium Redox Flow Batteries are suited technically and commercially for the intended markets we want to target, and marketed in the correct way to ensure success for the products and company.

My key responsibilities as Technical Sales Engineer for the Middle East and Africa region was to support Trojan's Motive and Renewable Energy customers from a technical point of view. Apart from my technical responsibilities, I also played a key role in developing the business in Africa and the Middle East commercially.

As the Project Engineer my main responsibilities were the Design and Engineering of solar PV systems, drawing up and submitting high quality and professional proposals according to company procedure and guidelines and competitive and market related project costing and quotations. My focus was also on developing new business in the region, with a focus on building relationships with project developers and financiers locally.

My main responsibilities as Automation Engineer was the electrical and software design and project and plant commissioning for various factory and process automation projects nationally. We were the main electrical and automation and control contractor for many large water purification and desalination projects around South Africa and this was my first hands-on experience with how technology can play a part in the environment and people's lives.

During my time as Junior Automation Engineer my main responsibilities were initially the configuration, installation and commissioning of new projects and problem solving and analysis for call-outs on excising plants and sites. I was also responsible for compiling user and training manuals and facilitating training on PLC Automation and SCADA engineering.
