- Performed research tasks related to Radio Environment Map generation and performance analysis, and Ray Tracing in mmWave.

- Contributed to NI's ns-3 based Multi-RAT prototyping platform which is used in the EU public-funded project ORCA. - Developed a 5G prototyping platform based on LabVIEW Communications LTE Application Framework and ns-3 and the NI SDRs (USRP).

- Continuation of previous work with additional tasks to perform.

- Worked on mmWave Base station deployment studies, specifically generating data for post-processing regarding coverage. This was done using a Ray Tracer tool in MATLAB that was previously developed to generate radiation heat maps on a model map of 2 distinct cities. - Developed simple scripts in MATLAB to automate the process of importing base station coordinates and running distinct iterations of the ray tracer using distinct base station coordinates.

Engineering Consultant focusing on collaboration between Academic Institutions in the region and National Instruments. In this role, I helped researchers, faculty, and staff to understand and leverage the concepts of virtual instrumentation, graphical programming, which also includes computer-based measurements of physical phenomena, and control, expanding also to RF and embedded system design. We provided them with the systems that will allow them to have success on their research or teaching projects.

I focused on qualifying marketing-generated leads while interacting with customers with questions about the NI products and how they can fit their applications in order to offer basic consulting and assistance selecting the right platforms and guide them to the right resources. Afterward, I created qualified sales opportunities to pass off to the Inside Sales Engineers or Field Engineers who would follow up with the customer and continue working with them closely to ensure the success of their application.

- Provided technical assistance to hundreds of customers across the United States and Canada. - Received training and supported most of National Instruments platforms, such as LabVIEW, LabVIEW Real-Time and LabVIEW FPGA, TestStand, DAQ, RIO, PXI, Academic Platforms (myRIO, ELVIS, myDAQ, etc), among others. - Participated in the recruitment of future ELP engineers. - Reported bugs in LabVIEW to our Research and Development team to be fixed in future revisions.
