Lead hikes and taught middle school students in a camp-like environment to meet science curriculum standards and worked at the Raptor Rehabilitation Center to care for the daily and veterinary needs of the permanent residents (and also mice!). A multi-faceted, 50-60hr work week job.

Worked on two projects independently: -Conducted an independent comparative bioinformatic analysis of select cytochrome P450 genes in ancient genomes (Neanderthal, Denisovan, etc) and humans. This research is in the final stages and I am currently writing the results up for publication. -Created a complete list of all SNP and genes associated with syndromic and non-syndromic hearing loss Completed any other lab experiments and daily tasks as needed by the Post-Docs and PhD students.
