Kerstin is a senior leader with over 10 years’ experience in startups, IT, energy and innovation. As VP Partnership & Acceleration she collaborates with an ecosystem of partners to implement growth opportunities for E.ON. In her previous role as MD of innogy Innovation Berlin, she was responsible for the Machine-Economy Investment strategy. Prior to that, Kerstin was heading the Technical Evangelism Team at Microsoft. Prior to her corporate career, she was one of the founding employees of Fidor Bank

We represent the Berlin office of the innogy Innovation Hub. I'm responsible for the blockchain investment chapter called Machine Economy according to which the client of the energy system of the future will be a machine, an economically autonomous agent that is able to generate, buy, sell & trade energy via blockchain. To shape this vision we invest in the building blocks of the new internet: Web 3. Our ticket seize: 250k - 500k. Target: Early Stage Startups. Equity, Tokens.

At the Machine Economy Ventures Lighthouse we believe that the centralized technological backbone of today is no longer suitable to manage billions of devices, transactions and identities. Therefore, we apply a portfolio approach and invest in the decentralised technologies, mainly infrastructure, identity, oracles and service layer.

My role as Technical Evangelist Manager at Microsoft is in implementing the new strategy – We are cloud-first, mobile-first and opensource-friendly now - and execution of how Microsoft engages with existing fanboys and new audiences. In tandem with the Audience Marketing Team it is our job to interest developers in building applications and innovative services supporting our key platforms.

Community: In my role as Product Owner Fidor Community, I plan new features in accordance to the needs of the customer: I create user stories, sprint planing and retrospective meetings. SCRUM. Community-Karma: I am responsible to implement a fully automated Peer-to-Peer scoring algorithm. CMS: Organisation of new instances and new widgets.

Like-Zins: In my role as Social Media Manager I created the concept for the “Like-Zins”, the first user driven interest rate based on Facebook Likes: Copywriting, social media and dialogue marketing. Communication: In my role as Copy Writer I created Newsletter Campaigns, Website Content, FAQ's, and Press Releases. Brand: In my role as Conceptionist I created a new Retail Brand Strategy introduced by "Annie" The smart female Fidor testimonial represents the "disruptive" DNA of Fidor Bank.
