Kerstin Müller

Experienced Digital Head of Project Management with plenty of agency experience and academic background in Media and Communications. Always striving to be an enthusiastic and creative leader, who advocates process development and continual improvement in delivery.

Lead the London PMO, line-managed a number of mid-weight to senior project managers and monitored and reported on KPIs for the entire portfolio (profitability, delivery timelines, overall project quality, revenue recognition and use of PMO processes). Partnered with Account Management and Client Services teams to define delivery approaches and estimates for new business opportunities and facilitate handover of new work to the PMO delivery teams.

Worked with complex CMS systems across multiple technologies and a range of clients, including large public sector/government, nonprofits as well as sports industry clients, with a focus on iterative or full agile project delivery. I have been involved in new business proposals and pitches and identifying new business opportunities. I was line-manager to other project managers and responsible for setting performance review targets and development.

In my role as senior e-commerce project manager I have managed highly commended Magento (now Adobe Commerce) projects through their entire life cycle, from inception and technical discovery, to design and build, UAT, launch and post launch support and was actively involved in leading client show-and-tells, project workshops and discovery sessions. Delivered large-scale enterprise level projects, launching national and international web shops, an omni-channel application and multi-site B2B projects.

In this temporary role I was responsible for translating and coding market data derived from the German entertainment audience, analysing qualitative and quantitative information to support and review clients’ brand health and marketing strategies.

Lecturer, seminar tutor and BA dissertation supervisor in the Media and Performing Arts Department, teaching Media, Cultural Studies and Communications.

Carried out independent research in the field of Media and Cultural Studies, funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) which enabled me to gain extensive experience in quantitative and qualitative research and in-depth knowledge of visual culture, media semiotics and wider cultural processes.
