I am focused on discovering and executing strategies which ensure that: a) the content which our users need is contained in our online information offerings; b) users can easily find the content they need; c) when users find the content, it is written in such a way that it actually helps them to solve their problems. On the production side, I apply the principles of structured authoring and reusability to help our authors spend more time creating content and less time maintaining projects.

• Designed and created the template for all technical documentation projects; topics inspired by standard DITA information types helped our writers move towards structured authoring. • Spearheaded the use and development of style guides, including a company-internal style guide. The minimization of potentially distracting style differences enhanced the readability of our documentation.

• Edited German and English technical documentation. • Translated German technical documentation into English. • Maintained an online terminology database for the company's products and processes.

• Created and maintained online help topics for a web-based, enterprise-level construction project management application. • Contributed to the initial design of an online help system for end-users. • Requirements analysis.
