Contract developer for the Information Services Branch of the Oregon Department of Transportation. Responsibilities include development of web applications for transportation data access, improvement of publication processes for accident reports, upgrading and maintaining intranet and internet web sites on networks using predominantly Microsoft IIS servers and Windows NT clients, testing and technical documentation.

Coordinated and participated in a contract research program for silicone materials improvement and test method development using statistical methods for experimental design and analysis. Rheological analysis of materials using state of the art instrumentation and software was key to the program.

Supported materials research and FDA submissions for clients in the medical device field. Developed a unique UV-absorbing silicone material for cataract surgery that has been incorporated into several industry-leading products. Also Macintosh, MS-DOS and Windows product development/programming and systems consulting, technical documentation for software and medical devices, desktop publishing. Produced and tested 30+ commercial and private (client proprietary) software product releases for clients.

Managed accounts for local school districts and private schools, providing hardware and software consultation, troubleshooting, network configuration, training and other services for Macintosh and Apple II systems. Planned and participated in numerous regional seminars and sales events for education; published newsletters, bulletins, and other information and promotional materials for Di-No's education clientele.

Adhesive formulation, hot melt technology, release, test method development, Near IR, DSC, TMA, Experimental Design & Statistics, CAD, software documentation, radiation curing of polymers (EB & UV), pressure sensitive adhesive rheology, invention reports and patent filings. A leading experts in Avery for scientific formulation, designed experiments and radiation curing of adhesives, assisting manufacturing divisions in these areas. Developed & taught training courses to assist technical personnel.
