I directed cloud and big data development globally with a 9-digit revenue. As a member of the steering group for IQVIA Global Cloud Transition Program, my biggest tasks included redesigning old data services and moving those to internal cloud or Azure cloud as well as building new services to Azure. Technology stack: Azure, AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, spark, scala, java, python, c#, Airflow, Kubernetes, HELM, Oracle, Postgres, Cloudera, Hadoop, microservices.

Directing the e-commerce platform operating in 26 countries across the world. I am a member of the global leadership group at GFG and the leader forming the technological vision at Berlin Technology Hub with a 9-digit revenue.

I direct the Software Development and Big Data strategies and two multinational units with overall responsibility for the quality of work, management, professional development and financial performance. I balance corporate, team and individual goals to make appropriate engineering decisions. Our tech stack Kubernetes, AWS, Docker, Spring, ElasticSearch, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Snowplow, Hadoop, Kafka, Prometheus, React, Android, iOS, Java and Micro Services, which are now part of our tech stack.

I kept my innovation and software development skills sharp with my own startup projects www.topgifttips.com and www.snapagain.com. I sold the company November 2017.

Market planning, business planning and execution of company’s international startup projects, which were Video Surveillance Service , IoT Service and Social Video Sharing Service. I managed multiple development teams concurrently. I drove the Video Surveillance service migration from our own data center to the Amazon AWS cloud and achieved 50% cost cut. I lead negotiations with the world’s biggest IP camera manufacturers and distributors and achieved a 40% cost reduction.

Leading a global smartphone strategy area (First Use) covering 7 smartphone applications. I succeeded in productizing all Nokia smartphone First Use applications for global use and raising 5 million euros internal funding annually. I linked Nokia smartphones to Nokia OVI –Service, which had the target of 300 million connected phones in 3 years. In addition: Short and long term roadmap planning and managing virtual teams.

Leading simultaneously 4 different 3rd party teams including over 50 developers. Bringing major 3rd party office applications to Nokia smartphones for the first time in the history of Nokia. In order to achieve this, I created new software development processes for Nokia.

Developing core applications for the Nokia smartphones and keeping U.S. Nokia smartphone software developers aware of future features and challenges. I used development languages C++ and Symbian.

Designing and developing a common software platform to control laboratory devices and collect, calculate and visualize data. I acted as software team leader, software architect and requirement manager.
