Assessed portfolio companies to achieve turnaround through operations and products redesign for operational and cost excellence and scale-ups. Identified strong platform companies and implemented buy-and-build strategy for high impact value creation and quantifiable bottom-line results. Enabled clients to reduce carbon emissions and transformed strategy into actions including renewable and green fuels.

Strategically advised 10 energy and infrastructure companies on topics related to strategic risks, business development, innovation, restructuring, merger and acquisition (M&A). Initiated global operations and business development innovations resulting in overall increase in market share by 20% and reduced costs by 30% over 3 years. Elected as Global Leadership Fellow for contributions to energy and infrastructure industry.

Took over the business that went bankrupt with >400 FTE and full P&L responsibility requiring urgent restructuring. Led due diligence to assess business and right-sized to 300 FTE during the crisis. Reduced costs and improved operational excellence, which resulted in 28% increase in margins and 20% savings in cost across 3 product segments. Executed lean manufacturing processes to increase yield and operational efficiency by 30%. Designed and implemented profitable merger and acquisition (M&A) deal.

Handpicked by the Group in 2009 to bring strategic leadership to an unprofitable operations of the Group in Europe, Asia, and Latin America due to earlier success in turnaround situations. Reduced operations cost, negotiated new terms with factories, hedged material prices, while ensuring continuation and enhancements of services. Mastered cost excellence and continuous improvement activities as Six Sigma Black Belt. Spearheaded and successfully closed 2 joint venture deals in China and India.

Spearheaded 4 power semiconductor product lines manufacturing processes in the factory. Developed and implemented more than 20 continuous process improvement initiatives. Trained 20 technicians in operational excellence, sustainability and process improvement. Established best practices and performance optimization activities, which improved production yield by 50% and increased cost savings by 2 Million EUR.

Accelerated industrial regulations and technology evaluation processes which reduced CAPEX and regulatory expenditure by 20% in space, energy, and infrastructure sectors.

I am the Founder of Prajñālaya. We work towards bringing socio-economic and infrastructural transformation in our society. Currently we work on topics related to education and skills development. We build tools and products to individualise learning process in schools and enrich student-teacher interaction. We also work on building employment opportunities in local communities.
