15-months project for Slovenian railways: o Conducted Activity-Based Costing (ABC) analysis for two daughter companies: Infrastructure and Holding o Modelled processes of >20 departments, determined optimization measures Main Results: o Measures per department – optimized processes layout, necessary FTEs, economic benefits o The Management Board recognized the list of measures as a strategy for the next 5 years o List of infrastructure assets to be sold and potential savings (tens of millions of dollars)

· Described the As-Is situation of the terminal operators in Muuga harbor (Estonia) · Analysed eleven commodity groups through the prism of transportation modes distribution, facility utilization rate · Accessed the terminal area by types of transport modes and commodities · Identified obligatory and value-added logistics functions for seven freight types · Prescribed requirements for future information and management systems
