I provide research, design strategy, and interaction design for agencies, start-ups and non-profits. I lead agency teams through complex service and interaction design projects. I work with start-up stakeholders to define requirements, user needs and stories, create affordable research programs, and detailed design and specifications. I offer support throughout visual design, development, product launch and version iterations.

Lead design teams from concept to delivery of complex interaction solutions for web, desktop, and mobile applications. Designed and executed research. Researched best practices, experimented and implemented within projekt202 to improve the company design practice. Spoke and wrote on design and research topics. Clients included PayPal, Microsoft, Sony - Columbia Records, and Samsung.

Lead design teams from concept to delivery of interaction solutions for web, desktop, mobile, and embedded applications. Designed and performed user research and analysis prior to and during design phases. Communicated designs to highest level stakeholders as well as product and development teams. Mentored designers on teams. Clients included PayPal, Motorola, Charles Schwab, Microsoft, and Unicast.

Started Austin's first interaction design community. Grew an email list of 65 to a community of 500+ members. Organized monthly happy hours and educational events coordinating speakers, space, sponsorships and other volunteers.

User Experience Design for software supporting lean manufacturing. Developed information architecture, peformed contextual inquires and usability testing, designed wireframes and complete graphic look and feel for our enterprise web application.

Studied through an interdisciplinary program focusing on writing, multimedia, design, computer programming, psychology and anthropology. Participated in the undergraduate Iowa Writers' Workshop.
