Manager for the development and production of training material within GE’s Power Plant Training Center - Birr, Switzerland. Responsibilities include: • People management & development • Production & planning of e-Learning Modules • Content distribution both locally and globally The training cover the full Power Generation scope; Gas & Steam Turbines, Generators, External Auxiliaries, Erection & Dis-assembly Procedures, Commissioning and Operation & Maintenance.

Leader for the production of training material and the management of training instructors for both Electrical and EHS training courses within the ALSTOM Power Plant Training Centre, Birr, Switzerland. Working with competent team members my responsibilities include: - The production and planning of e-Learning Modules distributed both locally and via Learn Management System (LMS) networks (Distance Learning). - Managing and development of training instructors for both the Electrical and EHS Trainings.

Responsible for the development of Distance Learning Tools (e-Learning modules) and their distribution. Working with a local team my responsibilities included the production planning, production, outsourcing, co-ordination and the reviewing of e-Learning Modules distributed locally, CD-ROM and also via Learn Management System (LMS) networks (Distance Learning). These training modules are aimed at both Internal and Customer personnel for all the Power Generation scope.

Responsible for producing Technical Graphics & Presentations for both Technical Training Manuals and Sales Manuals for the full range of Power Distribution. It was also required that I applied my knowledge of Computer Based Training (CBT) into small Training Modules for the Technical Instructors of the Training Center. This task was quickly recognized as being a key feature for the department and section and was thereby designated as being my full time task.

Working within a small German speaking team, my responsibilities were for the production of the Technical Graphics within the Steam Turbine Development Sector of ABB.

Production of Technical Illustrations and Technical Documentation for Service Manuals (SM), Operation & Maintenance Manuals (O&M), Illustrated Parts Catalogues (IPC), Sale Brochures and Marketing material. Within the last year at Oerlikon Contraves I was involved in the production of Computer Based Training (CBT) lessons. This material comprised of the early forms of e-Learning and involved training material distrubuted over a Local Area Network (LAN) system for their customers.

Employed within a small English speaking team producing Technical Illustrations and Documentation for Service Manuals (SM), Operation & Maintenance Manuals (O&M), Illustrated Parts Catalogues (IPC), Sale Brochures, Marketing material for a variety of customers including BMW, SIG Combibloc Group, MTU, EURO Tunnel, ABB, to name but a few.
