Currently employed by Helvetia Packaging AG which operates a new aluminium beverage can and end making facility in Saarlouis. The headquarters are based in Root, Switzerland. The plant manager has responsibility for health and safety, quality, production, technical, HR, logistics, IT/SAP and administrative departments. Location in Saarlouis has 160 production, technical and management personnel and is a Greenfield project.

Responsible for developing quality system in line with ISO 9001:2008 for 33, 50, 55 & 56.8cl aluminium beverage can production. Reduced Quality KPI (complaints) Responsible for graphics which has over 1200 active labels Introduction and certification of Hygiene Management System according to EN15593 and later FSSC: 22000

Responsible for developing quality system in line with ISO 9001:2000 for newly developed beverage can end including new automated measurement gauges, quality procedures, installation of new CAQ system, co-ordinating and completing the training of new production personnel. Communicating closely with the company’s biggest customer, Coca-Cola. Other responsibilities include establishing HACCP system, health safety and environmental management for the manufacturing location.

Project Engineer for newly developed resealable beverage can end (BRE). Developed conveying and seaming capability in line with requirements of Coca-Cola’s beverage can filling locations.
