I'm building the PhotoEditor SDK for iOS, Android, and the web and exploring the use of deep learning for photo editing. Among other things, I developed and trained a convolutional neural network that's able to infer a foreground/background segmentation from a plain image in real-time on edge devices. I implemented the app and created a GPU-based pipeline that allows inference and an effect preview in real-time.
