Specification and architecture definition of FPGA based high-speed image processing systems in collaboration with hardware, software and system developers. Implementation and integration of high-speed interfaces like PCIe, Ethernet, DDR3, CoaXPress etc. and support driver development. Development and verification of complex image processing algorithms in VHDL and Verilog for image pre-processing in frame-grabbers and other image processing devices. Update and maintenance of C++ API for frame-grabbers.

Assisted in the research and development of Pedestrian Recognition System. Developed an application to facilitate handling special cases in training images. Created Matlab scripts for analysis and visualization of data and developed Bash scripts for automation of tasks.

Researched work-flows for development on Xilinx Zynq SoC. Set-up the environment to run embedded Linux on Zynq SoC. Developed Linux device drivers for Zynq SoC and HDL code for various tasks

Designed and developed RTL and simulation code for multiple high-speed, high-density FPGA based systems, utilizing products from Xilinx and Altera. Created test-cases and performed testing, verification and validation. Developed and introduced new hardware testing methodologies to accelerate testing and overall development process. Created multiple software applications to simplify and streamline hardware testing.
