Main responsibilities are to create and manage implementation of International Material Data System (IMDS) collating information according to the EU End-of Life vehicles, hazardous material legislation 2000.

Responsible for collating all information required for PPAP submission to all customers.

Main responsibilities are to create and manage implementation of International Material Data System (IMDS) collating information according to the EU End-of Life vehicles, hazardous material legislation 2000. Submission of IMDS’s to BMW for Rolls Royce. Also responsible for APQP activities including Full control of PPAP verification on all supplier components for all Rolls Royce.

Responsible for new manufacturing programs on a ‘cradle to grave’ approach, including product feasibility, Customer quotations, material approval and sign off, design / development, APQP, PPAP, pre production builds, tooling, logistics and manufacture on a JIT (just in time) basis to the automotive OEM’s and Tier 1 suppliers such as Ford, Jaguar, Lear, Intier, Land Rover, MG-Rover, Honda, Nissan, Faurecia, Vauxhall (GM), TS-Tech and Johnson Controls.

Create and manage implementation of International Material Data System (IMDS) collating information according to the EU End-of Life vehicles, hazardous material legislation 2000. Submission of IMDS’s to Ford, Jaguar, Lear, Intier, Land Rover, MG-Rover, Honda, Faurecia, Nissan, Vauxhall (GM), TS-Tech and Johnson Controls. MDS submissions also included in PPAP’s when submitted to customers.

Work with suppliers on continuous improvement using company procedures (FMEA, PPAP, 8D, Cause & Effect, 5Y, 5S, TPM, Lean Manufacturing) in accordance with QS9000 and ISO14001. Implementation of new projects and delivery requirements. Quality system audits and Quality review meetings undertaken with suppliers both in the UK and Europe. Management of supplier’s personnel onsite and at customers due to quality issues.

Work with customers on product improvement using PIR’s, 8D, Cause & Effect, 5Y, SCAR. Agreeing quality standards, PPAP submission. New product development and introduction. Management of external quality personnel at customers and suppliers.
