I was offered the opportunity to architect and launch a brand new office in Barcelona from scratch with another Consultant. This was to be headquartered from Madrid with an initial focus of developing the Barcelona and Tarragona market. As an HR Consultant I tried to fulfill the most demanding international client needs, as well as the local focus to identify and attract the most capable candidates for technical, professional and engineering vacancies.
Recruited and hired candidates in and out of state for permanent placements for all IT positions for multiple companies. Used internal database, Internet sites and referrals to source active and passive candidates. Negotiated salaries, checked references, presented verbal offers of employment to selected candidates and completed necessary paperwork after hire.
Recruited, screened, interviewed and hired IT and Engineering professionals for potential job opportunities.
