The doctorate serves as proof of special scientific knowledge and skills in the field of economics. The doctoral degree at the Faculty of Economics is awarded in a three-part system. The doctoral studies include 1. the examinations of the doctoral studies 2. a scientific paper written in German or English in the field of economics (dissertation), 3. the oral defense (disputation)

The Master Program in Finance and Accounting provides a science-based, professionally oriented education in the field of finance and accounting. Graduates have comprehensive qualifications in business administration with advanced expertise and specialised skills in finance and accounting. They have the skills necessary to critically evaluate and analyse current, relevant issues, to interpret data and financial reports, and to communicate the results appropriately to different target groups.

During my exchange semester at the CUHK, I learned to work and live in an international environment. At the university, I took courses that intrigued me: Entrepreneurship, Portfolio Management, Marketing and Spanish.

The studies provided me with a solid grounding in the theory and skills of business administration, economics and methodological foundations including mathematics, statistics, econometrics, information systems and law as well as economic history and current developments in these fields.
