Strategic and operational support in R&D for several biotech start-up and established biotech companies in Europe and US

As part of the executive team I am responsible for the execution of the business strategy defined by the Board of Directors. It is my duty to set the scientific strategy and implement the necessary steps to ensure proper execution. As part of my role I defined as well the necessary laboratory standards to maintain a high quality of the results.

Starting as a Staff Scientist with responsibilities for all technical and scientific laboratory work in cancer immunology and cancer vaccine development. During the next 4 years responsibilities grew to supervision of technicians, being the key scientific liaison for all technical aspects in tumor immunology, and technical specialist for the in-house Alliance Review Committee for in-licensing opportunities embedded in the Business Development department.
