Strategic team member tasked with projecting growth, creating and executing a plan to increase market share of all Specialty products. Acquired management of Liberty Mutual’s yacht insurance product. Facilitated the change management and systems integration of the Liberty Mutual yacht and specialty auto insurance programs with Safeco Insurance, while telecommuting from Germany.

National Product Manager for the Landlord insurance business responsible and accountable for top line growth and annual business plan. Responsible for countrywide product changes and pricing decisions. Managed concept, design and implementation of a new insurance product targeting growth of high quality insurance consumers. Led a cross-functional team including IT, distribution and claims responsible for product launch and national roll out of the new product.

Took over national management of the Landlord insurance product from 15 regional state managers. Designed a national process to develop and implement landlord price changes in 45 states annually. Responsible for evaluating outsourcing of ancillary insurance products including feasibility study, process design, and vetting and negotiating with buyers. Account manager for the external manufactured home insurance partner responsible for managing subcontractor and for financial results.

Built and led an international cross-functional team on a process optimization project. Improved B2C sales process for 820k inquiries annually by reducing 112 seconds per inquiry. Managed the project to create a new automobile insurance product offering additional insurance benefits to teachers insured with Liberty Mutual. Strongly involved in providing analytical support for several departments contributing to improved performance. Produced monthly analysis and presented results to upper-management.

Facilitate between public administration and product teams to support auto, home and specialty insurance product regulatory filings. Created and submitted filings to gain regulatory approval for pricing changes and product enhancements. Researched and analyzed insurance regulations to develop recommendations in support of insurance product changes. Consulted with product teams regarding state laws to ensure filings, processes and products complied with state regulations.

Led a team of Business Analysts on monthly systems quality assurance testing. Accountable for reaching monthly testing goals and reporting results to management. Improved the process for QA testing the home and auto insurance sales application.
