I am in charge of a cross-functional team of six software and QA engineers from Sweden and Germany since I built up the team in February. As a Technology Team Lead it is my duty to translate the company vision to the teams context and motivate and support them with continues learning and training opportunities. I enable the team to follow agile best practices to react on evolving business requirements. By interviewing candidates I am expanding my team as well as other teams in the company.
I was part of the team that enhanced the website tui.com with customer centric web components. 'You build it, you run it' was the phrase the team lived by so we were able to rebuild the infrastructure in AWS and setup our own pipelines. Within that team I was mentoring the new and junior developers to help them settle down.
I was responsible concept of requirements for a web application . I was in close contact with international developers able to support my feature suggestions with on hands expertise in development. To retrieve direct feedback I was having interviews with our customers as well as present new features. Those feedback at hand I was planning future releases with needed features and bugs to solve. Additionally I was taking part in sales meetings to held application demonstrations for the customers.
