Accountable for leading the IT integration of Merck’s $17B acquisition of Sigma Aldrich. The largest M&A the company’s 350 year history. Responsible for building and leading the vision, strategy, and initiatives to protect Merck’s IT, data, systems, and intellectual property which generate over €15B in annual revenue.

Responsible for guiding and developing the CIO’s vision, strategy, and initiatives to support 65,000 IT system users operating in 51 countries Lead enterprise wide efforts to optimize operations, processes, and budget expenditures for more than 1,500 employees throughout Europe

Responsible for creating organizations, programs, and strategies based on ITIL, Lean Six Sigma, and Knowledge Management to evolve the unit to a centralized operating model. Drive agency efforts to increase collaboration, improve decision making, and integrate information sharing platforms of geographically dispersed units

Maintained accuracy, availability, and reliability of all operational information within the Battalion’s area of responsibility supporting military operations on 2 continents

Provide 24x7 communications support to multinational, multi-billion dollar counter drug, counter narcotics operations for 5 DoD services, 9 government agencies and 15 countries

Maintained satellite, terrestrial, and tactical communications for the largest Department of Defense facilities in Europe and Asia supporting over 200,000 users in 32 countries
