Dr. Mischa Kim

I represent MathWorks as media spokesperson and at MATLAB EXPO events worldwide. Past EXPO events include multiple locations in Australia, New Zealand, and South Korea.

I am currently leading and aggressively growing Customer Success (CS) teams across Europe. Under my leadership my teams have had the biggest impact on new sales and renewal revenue amongst CS teams worldwide. This is also due to a somewhat novel customer engagement approach I implemented: driving revenue and tool adoption by heavily leveraging networks and the power of customer advocacy.

In this role I have led, supported and grown Tech Evangelist teams in Europe, and oversaw the definition and execution of region-specific absolute priorities. I also initiated and implemented a national, inter-institutional network to increase business value and customer satisfaction for customers and prospects alike, both in academia and industry. This effort turned into an exquisite business development tool resulting in considerable new sales revenue.

I implemented a common account strategy framework for customer facing groups for pre- and post-sales. My mission was to deliver business value at all levels-from user to executive-by bringing the benefits of technology to transform research and teaching in academia. Through these efforts I managed to open the secondary education market in Germany and Austria initiating and helping complete first sales. I mediated at major accounts to repair customer relationships and help secure renewals.
