Giving strategic insights and overseeing the IT and Communications functions at the County Assembly of Kwale Secretariat. I manage the ICT, Public Relations, Hansard & Research teams. Within my first 3 months, I set up an ICT steering committee to align ICT operations with the institutional ICT strategy and I also prepared an ICT policy securing its approval and implementation. Manage a team of engineers tasked with ensuring timely support of all technical enterprise solutions for our top 500 billing customers, ensuring fault resolution within SLA and preparing and executing service improvement plans. Scope of solution was the enterprise connectivity solution and the associated security services and appliances, like firewalls. Other achievements highlighted in my résumé.

Own the overall technical service relationship management between Liquid Telecom Kenya and the assigned accounts on a country/regional basis and be the Single Point of Contact on technical issues for the assigned portfolio. I participated in the Presidential Digital Talent Program as a mentor. From May 2009 to October 2015, I worked as a Service Assurance engineer for enterprise connectivity & security solutions. Self study

Graduated with a GPA of 4.00. A management masters course whose main focus is in the ICT sector. The focus areas for this course were Strategic Management, Project Management, Legal, Policy and Regulatory Environment in Converged Systems and Human Resourcing for ICT. For my dissertation, I looked at how African countries have looked into the Data Protection and privacy aspects in ICT’s (based on the basic privacy requirements).

2nd Class Upper Honors degree in BSc. Computer Science Course & served as the Chairman of the Society of Computer Science & IT Students (SCOSIT) from May 2007 to August 2008.

Diploma course in ICT management that had IT, Business Communications, Financial & Quantitative Methods and Microcomputers & Networked Systems.

Scored an 'A' plain grade of 82 out of a possible 84 points.
