The Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange for Young Professionals / Parlamentarisches Patenschafts-Programm für Junge Berufstätige consists of three segments: a 2 month Intensive language course, a 4 month University/Study phase, and a 5 month Internship.

Completed a Masters Thesis program working in The Gear and Power Transmission Laboratory in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at The Ohio State University; Studied the tribological effect of varying bearing-quality steels under varying operating conditions in a wind-turbine bearing application, and measured the growth of micro-pitting, a common failure mode. Lead Planner and head of the committee in charge of planning and organizing the honorary’s 2013 International Convention hosted on campus at The Ohio State University from February 22-24, 2013. Maintained a budget of approximately $50,000 to confirm lodging and meals, secure company sponsorship, and manage all registration and planning of attendees, as well as the logistics dealing with execution of the event.

Updated, created, and enhanced Process Excellence production trend data reports; Developed a procedure to discover potential reasons/methods of failure of production engines by matching an engine model to production data and performing a sensitivity analysis to discover correlated parameters; Analyzed trends relating to speed margin failure, data significance of the implementation of test stand exhaust turning vanes, flow area sensitivity, and other various data analysis projects.

Measured test specimens for a project sponsored by the Department of Energy to study micro pitting on gear bearings; Loaded and unloaded test stand to maintain the progression of a study.
