Worked on identifying and and delivering process improvement opportunities. Lead the process for documenting the various processes within the P2P area, winning an award in the process. This involved liaising with people from India and Romania. Helped to manage the migration of the P2P team from Brighton to Krakow.

I was employed to work on implementing an e-invoicing solution for the business. This required the gathering of requirements and then going to tender to find a provider who could implement a solution in line with those requirements. I would then work with the provider to go over the technical aspects of the solution prior to implementation, testing and go-live.

I was responsible for understanding the business requirements so that an appropriate solution could be de designed and delivered. I was also responsible for articulating the gathered requirements to the architecture and development teams and then in return communicating the technical solution back to the underlying business stakeholders.

I was out-sourced as a Business Analyst to the Ambassador Theatre Group, the largest theatre group worldwide. I worked directly with the IT Director to analyze existing or ideal designs of systems and gather requirements for implementing new processes or improving existing processes using Agile methodologies. I would gather requirements by means of interviews, workshops or process analysis.

Managed and undertook the operational aspects of the audit engagement ensuring the profitable maximization of recoveries for both the company and the client ensuring audits were completed in a thorough, timely and cost effective manner.

I led a global team of Technical Consultants and as a team we worked to exceed client expectations. As the Team Lead I worked closely with clients to gain an in-depth understanding of their technical requirements. I went on to gather requirements and implement the e-invoicing solution as per the clients’ specifications using strong project and stakeholder management skills. Key global clients included Kimberly-Clark, Henkel and Virgin.

My role was to identify and implement business / system process improvements utilizing LEAN / Six Sigma tools such as Value Stream Mapping and diagnostics. I was also responsible for scoping business requirements and developing technical solutions an developing the implementation approach and managing the impact on all business areas. I was responsible for all aspects of the project from business analysis to plan management, stakeholder engagement, change and risk management.

Responsible for ensuring that all controls were tested and written procedures were revised at least once every two years, so that standard processes were adhered to by all teams at all times.Also responsible for creating reports that drove KPI's and SLA's for third party service providers. Received excellent feedback on the standard and detail of documentation that I created and reviewed.

I was responsible for statement reconciliation and analysis and owned and managed the remittance process for numerous vendor accounts within a highly pressurized environment. I also prepared invoices for upfront scanning and optical character recognition and I was ultimately responsible for the punctual processing of invoices to meet agreed payment terms. One of my key achievements was the writing and implementation of a macro that allowed me to upload PDF invoices directly to the the OCR system.

Having obtained my C.E.L.T.A. certificate I went on to teach English to adults. Classes could include a wide variety of age groups. Teaching helped me gain confidence in addressing an audience and also ensuring that I adapted my presentation style to match the various learning styles that the students may have had. This experience has proven invaluable over the years when presenting to larger audiences.
