Led a preclinical study on a mouse model of MPSIIIA: project design, budget management, supervision and external collaborations. Managed animal studies, behavioral testing, tissue analysis, and biochemical assays . Engaged with funding partners and presented results at international scientific meetings.

Conducted preclinical studies on lysosomal storage disorders, including in vivo efficacy and molecular analysis (animal studies, behavioral testing, tissue analysis, and biochemical assays ). Collaborating with clinicians on translational studies related to MIS-C in COVID-19 patients and to endothelial dysfunction in pediatric cardiopulmonary bypass patients.

Characterized sulfated polysaccharides including heparin, LMWH, sulodexide, using NMR, chromatography, HPLC-LC/MS analysis. Investigated glycosaminoglycan interactions in cystic fibrosis therapy. International collaboration and presentation of results at international scientific meetings.
